Payouts

A Payout (also called a balance transaction) shows every credit, fee, and net amount that flows into your Shopify Payments balance.
With DataEase you can export all payout lines to Excel or CSV, check fees, or hand clean data to your accountant.

2. Export

Section titled “2. Export”
  1. Select CSV or Excel.
  2. Choose Payouts as the entity.
  3. Pick the fields you want, such as transactionDate, amount, and feeAmount.
  4. Run the task and download your file.

3. Import (Not supported)

Payouts are read-only in Shopify. DataEase lets you export them but not import or change them.

4. Field reference

Section titled “4. Field reference”

  • id — Unique ID of the payout line. Export only.

  • transactionId — Numeric ID of the Shopify Payments balance transaction this payout line represents (the same value Matrixify exports as Transaction: ID). Use the test column to see whether the line was created in test mode. Export only.

  • transactionDate — Date and time the payout line was processed. Export only.

  • type — Kind of payout line, such as charge, refund, or fee. Export only.

  • sourceType — Source type of the payout line (order, refund, adjustment). Export only.

  • sourceOrderTransactionId — ID of the order transaction behind this payout line. Export only.

  • sourceId — ID of the resource that caused the payout line. Export only.

  • amount — Gross amount of the payout line. Export only.

  • currencyCode — Currency of the amount. Export only.

  • associatedId — Numeric ID of the payout batch that contains this line (the same value Matrixify exports as the payout ID). Empty while the line is not yet part of a payout. Export only.

  • associatedStatus — Status of the payout batch (paid, in transit, failed). Export only.

  • feeAmount — Fee charged for this payout line. Export only.

  • feeCurrencyCode — Currency of the feeAmount. Export only.

  • netAmount — Net amount added to your balance (amount − fee). Export only.

  • netCurrencyCode — Currency of the netAmount. Export only.

  • test — Shows true if the payout line was created in test mode. Export only.

  • associatedOrderName — Order number linked to this payout line. Export only.

  • associatedOrderId — Numeric ID of the order linked to this payout line (as in Matrixify Transaction: Source Order ID). Export only.

5. Filters

Section titled “5. Filters”

  • AvailableOn — Export lines available on a specific payout date.

  • CreditCardLast4 — Export lines tied to cards ending with the last 4 digits you enter.

  • Currency — Export only lines in a given currency (USD, EUR, etc.).

  • Id — Export a specific payout line by its ID.

  • PaymentMethodName — Filter by payment method (Visa, PayPal, etc.).

  • PaymentsTransferId — Export lines in a single payout batch.

  • PayoutDate — Choose a payout batch date range.

  • PayoutStatus — Filter by payout batch status (paid, failed, pending).

  • ProcessedAt — Export lines processed on a specific date.

  • TaxReportingExempt — Export only lines that are tax-reporting exempt (true or false).

  • TransactionType — Export lines of one type (charge, refund, fee, adjustment).
