Settings

The Settings page in DataEase gives you control over how your app behaves. You can manage downloads, email notifications, and file cleanup to fit your workflow.

🔗 External Download Link

Option: Allow downloading the file via an external link without authorization

When this is enabled, anyone with the link can download export or import result files - no login required.

• ✅ Use case: Connect your exports directly to Google Sheets
• ✅ Use case: Share export results with external systems or team members

By default, this setting is turned off for security.

📧 Notification Settings

You can choose when to receive email updates about tasks and who should receive them.

Email Recipients

Add one or more email addresses to receive task notifications.

Manual Task Notifications

Notifications related to tasks that you start manually through the interface.

• Notify when tasks are completed - ON by default
• Notify when tasks fail - ON by default
• Notify when limits delay tasks - ON by default

Scheduled Task Notifications

Notifications for tasks that run on a schedule.

• Notify when tasks are completed - OFF by default
• Notify when tasks fail - ON by default
• Notify when limits delay tasks - ON by default

Tip: You can change any of these settings at any time.

Additional Shops Subscription

Use this block to add or remove extra stores that share the same license as your main shop.

• One extra store is already included in every paid plan.
• You can keep up to 20 extra stores here.
• Enter the store URL ending in .myshopify.com, press Enter, and click Save.
• Change the URL within 2 hours of adding a store.
• Delete or replace a store only after 30 days by clicking the ✕ next to its name.

🗑️ Delete All Files

The Delete all files button lets you instantly remove all export and import files stored in DataEase.

⚠️ This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

• ✅ Use case: Clean up storage or remove sensitive data
• ℹ️ Files are automatically deleted 30 days after creation

📄 Terms and Privacy

In this section, you’ll see:

• The date and time when you accepted the terms
• Links to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Always available for your reference.
